Gratuity (2024)

When Tammy, a single mother and waitress, receives a winning lottery ticket, her ex-husband returns to reap the rewards and she is forced to fight for her winnings.

Gratuity started as a small idea in January of Fiona’s junior year and quickly became one of the biggest projects she’s ever taken on.

She and her crew were honored to win the Panavision New Filmmaker’s Program Grant. With this award, they were granted a Panavision digital camera package at a significantly reduced price. This grant is given to aspiring filmmakers who show promise as future creators in the industry. Films supported by this program in years past include Napoleon Dynamite and Requiem for a Dream.

Fiona and her team are also the proud recipients of the highest grant award ever given by the Women of Chapman Endowed Student Filmmaker Fund. The Women of Chapman is a vibrant group of philanthropic-minded women who are strongly dedicated to a program of service to Chapman University.
